On the 7th of October there was held the 5th International children's festival "Little Miss World® 2005".

In our city it is autumn in full swing already, while on the azure coast of Antalya the warm sun is still reigning. In a cosy French restaurant of the 5 star hotel RIXOS KEMER little candidates for the main crown of the world have gathered for their first party of acquaintances. This party is one of many kind traditions of the festival , when the young ladies exchange souvenirs and get to know each other better. This fairy-tale-like show has become a symbol of friendship and unity.
This year has been rich for pleasant innovations, for example, Ball of Princesses, which each girl attended wearing her beautiful ball dress with a country sash. And to make this ball real, all the participants received a title Little Miss and their first crowns (the main golden crown remained an intrigue till the very final gala show.) Besides, the participants themselves chose a girl deserving to bear the honorable title "Little Miss Congeniality" - it was Kyunnei Kardashevskaya, the delegate from Yakutia.
The second title "Little Miss Sport" was given at the end of the sports day. During which the participants did some yoga, aqua aerobics, gymnastics and volley-ball. The most sportslike , according to the opinion of the instructors, turned out to be the delegate from Bulgaria Irena Petrova.
The show of National costumes this year was for the first time held several days prior the gala show itself. This evening was the brightest and the most remarkable, because the delegates came to the festival from all the world: Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and South Africa.
The next day the girls gave their first interview to the jury members, and the gala show demanded from the jury to evaluate three more appearances of the girls on the stage: in ball gowns, the talent show and defile in designer costumes "Butterflies". Of course, all the little Misses worried, but coped with the task with dignity. Each of them received presents, new impressions and , surely, a lot of friends from different corners of the world. And the titles were distributed in the following way:

Little Miss World 2005 - Valeria Yashechkina, 9 years old, Russia - she received a sash, a diploma, an exclusively made golden crown by "Jewel Service", an exclusively made porcelain statue from "Jewel Service", a golden ring from "Jewel Service", a golden pendant from "Jewel Service", a doll and cosmetics from TEZ TOUR as well as issues of magazines "Little Miss" and "Cosmolady"
Mini Miss World 2005 - Kyunnei Kardashevskaya, 8 years old, Yakutia - she received a sash, a crown, a diploma, a golden ring from "Jewel Service", an exclusively made porcelain statue from "Jewel Service", a golden pendant from "Jewel Service", a doll and cosmetics from TEZ TOUR as well as issues of magazines "Little Miss" and "Cosmolady"
Teen Miss World 2005 - Ivanna Lupu, 12 years old, Ukraine - she received a sash, a crown, a diploma, a golden ring from "Jewel Service", an exclusively made porcelain statue from "Jewel Service", a golden pendant from "Jewel Service", a doll and cosmetics from TEZ TOUR as well as issues of magazines "Little Miss" and "Cosmolady"

1st Runner-up - Sezer Ecem, 12 years old, Turkey - received a sash, a diploma, a golden ring from "Jewel Service", an exclusively made porcelain statue from "Jewel Service", a golden pendant from "Jewel Service", a doll and cosmetics from TEZ TOUR as well as issues of magazines "Little Miss" and "Cosmolady"
2nd Runner-up - Irena Petrova, 13 years old, Bulgaria - received a sash, a diploma, a golden ring from "Jewel Service", an exclusively made porcelain statue from "Jewel Service", a golden pendant from "Jewel Service", a doll and cosmetics from TEZ TOUR as well as issues of magazines "Little Miss" and "Cosmolady"
3rd Runner-up - Katharina Krebs, 10 years old, Germany - received a sash, a diploma, a golden ring from "Jewel Service", an exclusively made porcelain statue from "Jewel Service", a golden pendant from "Jewel Service", a doll and cosmetics from TEZ TOUR as well as issues of magazines "Little Miss" and "Cosmolady"
4th Runner-up - Claudia Degenaar, 13 years old, South Africa - received a sash, a diploma, a golden ring from "Jewel Service", an exclusively made porcelain statue from "Jewel Service", a golden pendant from "Jewel Service", a doll and cosmetics from TEZ TOUR as well as issues of magazines "Little Miss" and "Cosmolady"
5th Runner-up - Madara Gregere, 13 years old, Latvia - received a sash, a diploma, a golden ring from "Jewel Service", an exclusively made porcelain statue from "Jewel Service", a golden pendant from "Jewel Service", a doll and cosmetics from TEZ TOUR as well as issues of magazines "Little Miss" and "Cosmolady"

Representatives from sponsors singled out those girls who they liked best, thus Victoriya Bylina, who presented all-Ukrainian ladies' magazine "Cosmolady", gave a special prize to Victoria Farynyak from Crimea. Yulia Lipatova, representative of trade and producing enterprise "Jewel Service", chose Ivanna Lupu from Ukraine to be "Pearl of Jewel Service" and prepared a special present for her, too.

"Little Miss World® 2006"

Conducting the festival under the azure sky of Antalya has already become a good tradition. At the acquaintance party 26 young contestants gathered in the French restaurant of AMARA WING HOTEL in order to exchange memorable souvenirs and to get to know each other closer. All of them have come here from different countries and spoke different languages! But they were not just ordinary girls, but titled persons, and "Little Miss World® 2006" festival was not a first pageant for them, although the most important for them. The organizers and partners of the festival presented the little delegates with gifts, and already these Turkish belts with coins started to jingle gently, there were silver badges with the logo glittering on the tops, and behind the girls' backs there were smart and bright rucksacks.
The little ladies learned more about one another the next day, when the bright National costumes show was appointed to be conducted. National costumes may tell a lot about that remote place from where each delegate arrived. The language of Ukrainian poppies is in the wreaths; a silk Chinese kimono is of the scarlet color; the exact copy of the outfit of tsarina Tamara was on the delegate from Georgia; weird hand made houses and huts together with landscapes of Siberia were showing on a fluffy skirt of the delegate from this remote and cold part of the world; antique accessories - head gear, ancient scissors attached to the belt and necklace of a bride - such a costume was presented by the Albanian delegate. Each costume was a real masterpiece, for sure it was difficult for the jury to choose the best one!
Talent show is a very important stage of the festival, where the girls demonstrate their skills. This day was preceded by long days of rehearsals and preparations in order to impress the experienced jury members, parents and rivals. The Dance of the Fire, a gymnastic etude, three talent shows of ballet, belly dancing - could not be counted!.. Talent show is the most interesting and spectacular part of the festival which always gathers a lot of guests.
The interview stage sounds simply, but the contestants really worried while answering the questions of the jury. Because from these answers the mosaic of impressions about each of them was made in order to choose the one deserving to wear the title of Little Miss World.
The sun had already hidden behind the mountains when the audience started to gather in the amphitheatre. It was time for the final part of the festival - the grandiose Gala night!...

Press Release of “LITTLE MISS WORLD 2007”

In the period of 30 September – 7 October 2007 in the sunny Antalya on the shore of the gentle Mediterranean sea in the ecologically clean place on the territory of a luxurious and hospitable hotel AMARA DOLCE VITA took place the 7th International children’s festival of beauty and talent «Little Miss World 2007». The hotel team and personnel gladly received 30 participants and during all the preparation period of the festival they readily assisted and supported in any possible way. 23 countries and regions were presented at the 7th “Little Miss World” festival: Armenia, England, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Hungary, Georgia, Ingushetia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Crimea, Nigeria, Tatarstan, Russia, Russia-Volga Region, Russia-Siberia, Russia-Western Siberia YUGRA, South Africa, Ukraine, France, Scotland, Wales, Yakutia.

Especially for this festival there was chosen a theme “ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION” which is very topical nowadays in the world. 30 participants with their costumes of birds, animals, fish and plants meant to say that they are not indifferent about the present and future, in such a remarkable way they let us, the adults, know how vitally important it is to preserve the planet clean for the sake of health and life of all nations in the world.

A separate day of the festival schedule was fully devoted to the ECOLOGY costumes show. During this performance each participant was pronouncing her introduction speech, telling about
her costume of a bird, animal, fish or flower which are popular in her country. The best presentation of her ECOLOGY costume was by Liana Gumarova from Belarus. She was dressed in a gorgeous costume of a blue bird. Liana was titled “Best Ecology costume” by a judge from Bulgaria Mrs Svetlana Shopova. She received a diploma, a sash and a trophy.

… Every girl since early childhood dreams to turn from a Cinderella into a princess and find herself at a ball in a palace… The Organization committee of “Little Miss World” helped to realize this dream: on the 2nd of October in the main marble glamorous hall of AMARA DOLCE VITA the guests and judges gathered together wearing tuxedos and evening gowns. After receiving the crowns from the President of the festival Mrs Natalya Kovalyova each delegate became a princess. At the end of the ball a young guest from London Dasha Kirilishina sang an opera aria with a voice of an angel. For tenderness and gracefulness, for the beauty and evenness of movement the international jury acknowledged Anastasia Snurnitsina from the Crimea to be the best in her ball dress. Anastasia was awarded by Mrs France 2006, the judge from France and President of the contest “Little Miss France” Mrs Rejane Klein-Maurer.

As it is known to many people, the most crucial criterion in assessment of the delegates is their talent show. For this a whole day was devoted to the talent presentations of the girls. Of course it became the brightest one. The jury was gladdened with the high level of performance, variety of genres and original ideas of each performance. 16 of the shows were selected to be included into the Gala show.
The ability to display her inner world, demonstrate her personality and knowledge of the culture, geography and history of her own country is not less important than talent show presentation.
To see this all the judges gathered in the conference hall of the hotel in order to talk to each participant, to receive her presents and to give theirs. On completing the interview voting by show the judges chose the girl who best of all coped with such a difficult task, it was Isabela Mocellin from Brazil.

… At last became the main holiday in the life of each delegate – the 5th of October 2007, when the Gala show of the 7th International children’s festival of beauty and talent «Little Miss World 2007» took place. The first performance of the contestants was in their ball dresses, crowns received at the ball of princesses, with flags of their countries. After that 16 best talent shows caused admiration and applause of the audience. The performance of “Ecology” costumes became the zest of the gala show, as the participants transferred the audience to a magic forest with fluttering butterflies, fragrant flowers, birds of striking beauty, graceful peacocks and swimming fish… What could one not see in this magic forest!

The main part of the festival – the awarding ceremony – was held in National costumes of the countries of the girls, thus crating unforgettable coloring and showing variety of world cultures gathered on one stage. All participants received prizes from the sponsors of the festival: toys, flowers and golden jewelry from International travel company TEZ TOUR; symbolic porcelain trophies, golden trademark rings and pendants from the company “Jewelservice”. SA girl’s command of Russian helps to win Little Miss World 2010!

The 10th Anniversary International Children’s Festival of Culture and Arts -- Little Miss World 2010 has concluded with 9 year – old Kayleigh Victor from South Africa winning the top prize. Last year, she was 1st runner up and had been working hard for the whole year to be ready for the victory, including diligently studying Russian. She got the highest points from the judges in all categories and surprised the jury by her hard work, communicability and bright, easy going personality.
The festival was created in the beginning of this decade with the mission to create a new nation of talented, educated, friendly children. Representatives from all continents each year gather at the children festival to make more tight and friendly connections between their countries, to become acquainted with culture heritage and to demonstrate own talents.
This year’s festival was broadcast around the world on the European 5th television channel and the Internet. Delegates from 12 countries took part in the festival including Brazil, SA, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Russian Federation, France etc.
Every year organizers carefully choose the topics of the festival. This year’s theme was figures from the game of Chess and participants prepared amazingly beautiful costumes.
The Friendship party was first official event of the contest, which acquainted everyone with the culture of the various participating countries. National dances, representatives, traditional food and video all were included in the presentation with songs in the native languages helping not only to show the traditional culture of the countries, but also helped to make real friendship among the children.
The talent show was the most important day of the festival. Participants rehearsed long and hard before their moment in the spotlight and they presented themselves splendidly before the judges who were official representatives of the festival in the different countries and from the 5th Channel.
The stage was prepared by professional set designers and became even brighter with the first performance of the figures from the chess kingdom. The second theme with artistic costuming was “Stars and Stargazers” which a magical moment for the audience. And the finale was the most touching – the children gave flowers to their beloved parents.
The next day was the awards ceremony and the young princesses got lots of gifts from the festival organizers and the international tourist company, Tez Tour. All the princesses got crowns, because the Little Miss World festival is a fairy-tale world and in fairy-tales all girls can be princesses.
Main awards given: Little Miss World – Kayleigh Victor, 9 years, SA (the youngest Little Miss World in festival history), Teen Miss World – Olena Mekhanoshyna, Ukraine, 13 years old and Mini Miss World – Liana Bilalova, Tatarstan, 8 years.
